Kristen Lammert, a 35-year-old from South Carolina, is the mother of four daughters, all born on the same day, a remarkable and rare occurrence. On August 25, she gave birth to her fourth daughter, Valentina, joining her other three daughters—Sophia, 9, Giuliana, 6, and Mia, 3—who also share that date of birth. Despite not being twins, the sisters were all born on August 25, something Kristen describes as an “exclusive coincidence.”

Kristen revealed that the family dog had the same birthday as her first daughter, Sophia, which felt special at the time. As more of her daughters arrived, each was born earlier than expected, further adding to the unusual pattern. She finds the whole sequence surprising, even calling the chance of this happening “1 in a billion.”

In an interview, Dr. Megan Gray, an OB-GYN at the hospital where Kristen delivered her first child, acknowledged how uncommon such an event is. Dr. Gray mentioned that even planning births for a specific date is extremely challenging. She was astonished that Kristen naturally gave birth to all her daughters on the same day, years apart, without any deliberate scheduling.

Valentina, Kristen’s youngest, was originally expected to arrive on September 25. Both Kristen and her husband, Nick, decided not to inform their other daughters about the pregnancy until April, as they were concerned about potential complications. Kristen explained that they had to undergo extra testing, but everything turned out fine. When they finally shared the news, Sophia hoped her new sister would share her birthday. However, Kristen tempered those expectations, as Valentina’s due date was over a month before August 25.

Just before her last day of work on August 23, Kristen began experiencing blurry vision. Upon being taken to the hospital, doctors diagnosed her with preeclampsia, a condition that could lead to high blood pressure and organ issues during pregnancy. By August 24, Kristen and Nick realized that Valentina could potentially be born on August 25, completing the rare birthday streak for their daughters.
