South Korean and American militants announced on Friday that they would practice their largest joint area in five years at the end of this month, as the US has a long-distance B for the Korean Peninsula in a force show against North Korea. 1B bombers took off. The North has threatened to take unprecedentedly strong action against such exercises. It is likely that it will respond to upcoming training with missile tests as it sees it as an attack rehearsal.
At a joint news conference, South Korean and American militants said that they would conduct the Freedom Shield Exercise from March 13–23 to strengthen their defense and reaction capabilities, conduct computer-simulated command post training, and separate mass joint area training. Exercise called Warrier Shield FTX.
Colonel Isaac L., a spokesman for the US Army Taylor said that field training would include a combined amphibious drill, and their size would return to the scale of the biggest springtime field exercises of the friendly nations, called Foal Eagle.
The two countries last operated the Fall Eagle in 2018. He has now cancelled or lowered some joint exercises to support Stald Diplomacy against Stald Diplomacy and the COVID-19 epidemic with North Korea. Recently, however, both countries have been expanding their joint military exercises in anticipation of a developing North Korean nuclear threat.
U.S. B-1B’s deployment on Friday was the first such flyover of the aircraft in an aerial training joint with South Korean war aircraft since February 19. North Korea is highly sensitive to the deployment of the B-1B, capable of carrying a large traditional weapon payload. The next day, two short-range missiles were tested and launched in response to the previous flights of several B-1Bs.
South Korea’s Defense Ministry stated that the use of B-1B demonstrated American determination and ability to use its full range of military capabilities, including atomic weapons, to protect its colleagues. North Korea tested over 70 missiles last year, most in one year, and many more this year. Many of the missiles were nuclear-capable weapons designed to attack the American mainland and South Korea.
North Korea has also threatened to use its nuclear weapons in possible conflicts with the United States and South Korea. The US Army has warned that the use of nuclear weapons will “result in the end of that rule.” In January, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that the U.S. and the Korean Peninsula would increase the deployment of advanced weapons such as fighter jets and bombers.
Last month, North Korea’s Foreign Ministry warned that Americans and South Koreans would have to face unprecedented and strong retaliation if they carried out the planned military exercise this year that North Korea is preparing for with aggression.
Later, Senior North Korean Foreign Ministry official Quon Jong Gun said the only way to reduce military tension on the Korean peninsula was for the United States to deploy strategic property in South Korea and to prevent joint practice with that country from reversing your plans. He said that if the United States continues its hostile and provocative practices against North Korea, it can be considered a declaration of war.
North Korea has previously released similar rhetoric with the United States and South Korea in times of enmity.
