The US has imposed sanctions on three Chinese companies and a Belarus-based firm for providing missile-related items to Pakistan’s ballistic missile program, according to a statement from the US Department of State. The sanctioned entities include Xi’an Longde Technology Development Company Limited, Tianjin Creative Source International Trade Co Ltd, Granpect Company Limited, and the Belarus-based Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant.

These sanctions are based on Executive Order 13382, targeting suppliers of weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems. The Belarus-based Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant supplied special vehicle chassis to Pakistan’s long-range ballistic missile program, while Granpect Company Limited provided equipment such as filament winding machines for missile production.

Tianjin Creative Source International Trade Co Ltd supplied equipment like stir welding equipment and a linear accelerator system, potentially destined for Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO). The sanctions involve blocking property and interests in the US held by these entities and suspending their entry into the country.
