Showcasing their talent, more than a dozen of candidates from Haryana have succeeded in securing positions in the UPSC Civil Services 2023. Bhavesh Khayaliya of Jhanwari village of Tosham, Bhiwani secured the highest rank of 46th in Haryana in the UPSC exam followed by Shivans Rathi from Kharhar village of Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar with 63rd rank in the UPSC exam. Notably, presently Shivans is serving as SDM in Delhi and he was appointed as SDM after securing position in reserve list of UPSC prior to this. Apart from these, Komal Garg, a resident of Sirsa, Tarun Pahwa from Charkhi Dadir and Gaurav Yadva from Rewari have secured 221th , 231th and 234th positions respectively in the UPSC list.
Similarly, Dr. Pragati Verma, who hails from Maham of Rohtak, made it to the list by securing 355th rank in the Civil Services Examination. It is noteworthy that Pragati is the daughter-in-law of retired IAS RC Verma While Jaswant Malik, a resident of Seenk village of Panipat has secured 115th position across the country. It is pertinent to mention that Jaswant Malik was selected for the post of HCS in Haryana in the year 2023. Ekanksh Dhull, son of BJP leader Krishna Dhull, has made it to the list by securing 342 rank followed by Abhilash Sundaram from Bahadurgarh and Deepak Yadav from Ateli with 421th and 518th rank respectively. Deepakās grandfather Kanha Ram Yadav has retired from the army serving as Captain . Whereas Abhishek Napa, brother of BJP MLA Laxman Napa, was ranked 1001. It is worth mentioning that as many as 1016 candidates have been recommended for appointment by UPSC including 347 candidates from general category, 115 from EWS, 303 from OBC, 16 from SC and 86 from ST category.
