The White House released a video on Tuesday featuring Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, summarising President Donald Trump’s recent decisions in just 95 seconds. Titled with the phrase “Promises Made, Promises Kept,” the video outlines Trump’s swift actions in areas like border security, the economy, energy, and government transparency.

Border Security and Immigration Reforms

In the video, Leavitt emphasised President Trump’s aggressive moves to strengthen border security. “Within just two weeks, President Trump has declared a national emergency at the border, deployed military forces, ended catch-and-release policies, and reinstated the ‘Remain in Mexico’ program,” she stated. According to Leavitt, these measures have led to a 95% drop in illegal border crossings. She also highlighted the resumption of border wall construction and noted that Colombia’s president has offered a government plane to support deportation efforts.

Economic and Energy Policies

Leavitt praised Trump’s economic and energy strategies, stating, “President Trump has unleashed American energy by declaring a national energy emergency and eliminating Joe Biden’s electric vehicle mandate.” She claimed that Wall Street is thriving, with AI investments reaching $500 billion and $20 billion funnelled into U.S. data centers, showcasing a booming tech-driven economy.

Restoring Law, Order, and Government Transparency

Addressing Trump’s focus on law and order, Leavitt mentioned the designation of drug cartels as terrorist organisations and the enactment of the Laken Riley Act to enhance public safety. She also highlighted the signing of over 45 executive orders, the removal of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives from government and military institutions, and the mandate for federal employees to return to office work.

Leavitt underscored Trump’s commitment to free speech and media transparency, claiming he answered 12 times more press questions in one week than Joe Biden did over two years. Additionally, she noted the reinstatement of 440 journalists to the press room and the end of government censorship.

Concluding the video, Leavitt confidently declared, “Promises made, promises kept. We are just getting started.”
