US Vice President J.D. Vance to Visit India from April 21–24 for Bilateral Talks

The Vice President of the United States of America, H.E. Mr. J.D. Vance, is set to make his first official visit to India from April 21 to 24, 2025, according to a statement released by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

Vice President Vance will be accompanied by Second Lady Mrs. Usha Vance, their children, and senior members of the U.S. administration.

As part of the visit, Vice President Vance will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 21 in New Delhi to discuss the progress of bilateral relations and review the outcomes of the India-U.S. Joint Statement issued on February 13, 2025, during PM Modi’s visit to the United States.

In addition to his engagements in Delhi, the Vice President and his delegation are also scheduled to visit Jaipur and Agra before returning to Washington, D.C., on April 24.

This high-level visit marks a significant moment in India-US relations and will focus on exchanging views on regional and global developments of mutual interest.
