Trump Mocks Taylor Swift Over Super Bowl Appearance Amid Ongoing Feud

President Donald Trump didn’t miss the chance to take a swipe at pop superstar Taylor Swift during the Philadelphia Eagles’ White House visit on Monday. The jab comes just weeks after their tense face-off at the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

Both Trump and Swift had attended the Big Game, cheering for their respective sides — Trump for the Eagles and Swift for her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. The Eagles eventually triumphed, beating Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs 40-22.

However, the tension between Trump and Swift had been brewing even before the November 5 presidential election. Swift openly endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, calling for “calm, not chaos,” while sharply criticizing Trump for sharing AI-generated images of her online.

At the White House ceremony, Trump referenced their Super Bowl encounter, quipping, “I was there along with Taylor Swift — how did that work out?” The remark sparked laughter from the crowd.

Trump Shares Clip of Swift Getting Booed

Adding fuel to the fire, Trump reposted a viral video clip during the Super Bowl showing Swift seemingly getting booed by some sections of the crowd. The repost from ‘Libs of TikTok’ read, “Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed — The world is healing.”

Trump left the Super Bowl early, while Swift stayed to support a heartbroken Travis Kelce after the Chiefs’ loss.

Swift’s Endorsement of Kamala Harris Draws Trump’s Ire

Days before Election Day, Taylor Swift declared her support for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, calling herself a “childless cat lady” standing up for progressive causes. She posted, “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”

Trump was quick to respond, saying, “I was never a Taylor Swift fan. She’s very liberal, and always supports Democrats. She’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”

With political stakes high and personal rivalries flaring, the Trump-Swift drama appears far from over.
