US President Donald Trump labeled his recent call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as “very good,” highlighting attempts to get both Ukraine and Russia on the same page about their respective priorities.

In a short social media post, Trump said the call took around an hour and came after a previous conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said the discussions were intended to align the positions of the two countries.

We are in very good shape,” Trump commented, stating that more information would come from senior administration officials. He identified Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz as the officials who would give a true account of the meeting.
