EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar Plants Sapling During Morning Walk at Indian High Commission in Islamabad

Islamabad: External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar began his day with a morning walk at the Indian High Commission premises in Pakistan, where he took a moment to plant a sapling. The gesture symbolizes a commitment to fostering environmental awareness and sustainability.

Shehbaz Sharif Welcomes And Hosts Dinner For EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar And SCO Leaders

Earlier on Tuesday night Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has warmly welcomed External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar and leaders attending the 23rd Meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government as dinner was laid out by the dinner host Mr Sharif to cultivate diplomatic relations among the participating nations.

Dr. Jaishankar‘s visit to Pakistan is a very important engagement in the context of cooperation and dialogue at the regional level. This SCO is a multilateral organization, which consists of member countries belonging to Central Asia and South Asia, interacting on political, economic, as well as security-related issues.

On the dinner table, leaders discussed the common interest in several issues by stating that it was better to address problems when common aims are intended. SCO’s platform is a good opportunity provided to the member states to develop its relations and settle various issues such as trade, security, and even cultural exchange.

The event shows the importance of SCO in obtaining stability and prosperity for its member countries. Hence, more than ever, discussion and cooperation among nations with each other towards meeting the current global challenge is a must now.
