Elon Musk’s Private Life Faces Fresh Scrutiny Amid Exit from Politics

Elon Musk’s sudden decision to step away from politics surprised many, especially considering how actively he supported Donald Trump during the 47th US presidential election and helped create the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Just as his political role came to an end, a revealing report by The New York Times stirred more controversy around his personal life. The article alleged drug use, hidden children, and attempts to silence several women connected to him.

Among the most shocking claims was one from conservative commentator Ashley St. Clair, who said she had a child with Musk. She also alleged that he had another child with a Japanese pop star.

Ashley St. Clair Says Musk Has Children Around the World

Elon Musk has often spoken about the dangers of falling birth rates and his mission to help increase population. He believes that childlessness poses a bigger risk to humanity than overpopulation. Publicly, he has confirmed fathering 14 children.

However, according to Ashley St. Clair, Musk once claimed to her that he had children across the globe, including one with a Japanese pop singer. The report quoted her saying Musk told her, “He said he would be willing to give his sperm to anyone who wanted to have a child.” She added that Musk portrayed his actions as if he was helping save humanity, treating it like a noble cause.

Secret Messages, Silence Deals, and a Paternity Test

In September, Ashley publicly announced she was pregnant with Musk’s child. Around that time, Musk reportedly contacted her through Signal, a messaging app known for its disappearing texts, and asked her to keep both their relationship and the baby secret. Initially, Musk denied he was the father.

Ashley said Musk later offered her a financial deal to stay quiet. The reported offer included $15 million upfront and $100,000 every month until the child turned 21. However, she refused the offer, went public with the story, and took the case to court.

A DNA test later confirmed that Musk is the father, showing a 99.9999% match. Their child is named Romulus.

A Look at Musk’s Growing Family

Over the past two decades, Elon Musk has had 14 children from various relationships and marriages. His first wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson, gave birth to five of them in 2002—Vivian, Griffin, Kai, Saxon, and Damian. The couple divorced in 2008.

In 2020, Musk began dating musician Grimes. They had three children together—X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus. Their relationship later ended in a legal battle over child custody.

Meanwhile, Musk secretly fathered twins, Strider and Azure, with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink, his brain-tech company. In February 2024, Zilis and Musk had another child named Arcadia.
