“Elon Musk Behaved Badly,” Says Russian Ally Ramzan Kadyrov Over Disabling Cybertruck

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been accused of remotely disabling a Cybertruck belonging to Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. Kadyrov, a key ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin and ruler of Chechnya since 2007, claimed that the tech mogul remotely disabled the vehicle. In a message posted on messaging platform Telegram, Kadyrov complained and termed Musk’s act as “not manly.” See the post here:

Kadyrov Calls Musk’s Actions “Not Manly”

In the post, Kadyrov wrote (translated from Chechen): “Elon Musk behaved badly. He gives expensive gifts from the heart, and then remotely turns them off. You probably remember his gift – the Cybertruck, which we equipped with a machine gun and sent to the SVO. The machine coped with combat missions perfectly. Demonstrated manoeuvrability and good protection for the crew. So, recently, Musk remotely turned off the Cybertruck. This is not manly. We had to tow the iron horse. How is that possible, Elon? Is that how it is done?”

Elon Musk Refuted Giving Ramzan Kadyrov a Gift

Kadyrov earlier posted a video with the Cybertruck, which was equipped with what seemed to be a machine gun, suggesting that Musk had given him the truck.

We received a Tesla Cybertruck from the great Elon Musk. I was glad to test this new tech and personally saw why it’s properly named the ‘Cyberbeast,” Kadyrov wrote in a statement then, Benzinga reports.

Yet, Musk has denied giving the Cybertruck to Kadyrov, the report further added. Furthermore, how the Chechen leader came to acquire the vehicle is not clear, particularly since US sanctions do not allow direct exports of Cybertrucks to Chechnya.

Shaquille O’Neal Also Parts Ways with His Cybertrucks

In another news, ex-NBA star–turned–sports commentator Shaquille O’Neal sold two of his Tesla Cybertrucks after being disillusioned with their limited driving range. Even one of them being custom-modified, he sold both last week and has since bought a Cadillac Escalade IQ, hailing it for offering better performance on the same amount of energy.
