Burj Khalifa Unveils Dazzling New Lighting Upgrade

Dubai, November 29: Emaar Properties has completed a revolutionary facade lighting upgrade for Burj Khalifa, introducing a cutting-edge RGBW lighting system that combines advanced technology with the building’s iconic architecture. The new system will make its grand debut during UAE’s Eid Al Etihad celebrations on December 1, 2024, and will also commemorate the 15th anniversary of the world’s tallest building on January 4, 2025.

Transforming the Skyline

The upgraded system turns the Burj Khalifa facade into a stunning visual experience with vibrant, colour-changing lights and intricate effects. This dynamic RGBW technology replaces static lights, offering an enhanced range of customizable lighting scenes for festive occasions, everyday displays, and media presentations, all while maintaining the tower’s sleek design.

Emaar Properties spent six months testing the system to ensure flawless integration, resulting in a dazzling showcase that highlights Dubai’s global leadership in innovation and design excellence.

A Tribute to Progress

Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Executive Director of Emaar Properties, shared, “Burj Khalifa represents what’s possible when vision meets innovation. This lighting overhaul is a testament to the UAE’s spirit of progress. It’s a proud moment as we unveil the upgrade during Eid Al Etihad celebrations and approach the tower’s 15th anniversary, marking a new chapter in its legacy.”

Setting a Global Benchmark

This lighting transformation solidifies Burj Khalifa’s status as an architectural marvel and a symbol of modern design. By integrating technology and artistry, the project establishes a new benchmark in architectural lighting, promising to inspire future global innovations.

Burj Khalifa’s dazzling new facade reinforces Dubai’s image as a city of boundless ambition, where progress and creativity know no limits.
