Barron Trump, the youngest son of US President Donald Trump, has found a discreet way to stay in touch with his friends. According to Page Six, he uses Xbox to chat, which helps him avoid unwanted attention.
He Prefers Xbox Over Phone Calls
Previously, reports mentioned that Barron also used Discord, a chat app popular among gamers. However, Page Six now says he mainly uses Xbox. A source confirmed, “He has added it to his repertoire.” The source further explained, “It’s his communication platform of choice.”
He Keeps His Number Private for Security
Because of privacy concerns, Barron does not share his phone number with friends. Instead, he relies on Xbox to connect. One source pointed out that giving out his number could cause problems. They said, “If people get the number, they would give it out and then a million people would be calling non stop.” They added, “You’d have to change the number constantly and it’d become a merry-go-round.”
He Limits Access to Close Friends
Moreover, Barron only shares his gamer tag with people he knows personally. On Xbox, users can communicate through text or voice chat. A source shared, “It’s gamer bro culture, they ask each other for their gamer tag.” They added, “He knows the people.”
Donald Trump Praised Barron’s Tech Skills
Earlier this year, Barron made headlines after his father praised his technical knowledge. During an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, Donald Trump recalled a moment with his son. He said, “I turn off his laptop, I said, ‘Oh good,’ and I go back five minutes later, he’s got his laptop. I said, ‘How’d you do that?’” Trump said Barron replied, “None of your business, Dad.”
