Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh will not contest the Lok Sabha elections this time. He will contest the Haryana Assembly elections to be held after the Lok Sabha. This decision will be based on the formula adopted by BJP in 3 states Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Where MPs have been made to contest elections.

However, his family will also contest the Lok Sabha elections. His daughter Aarti Rao can be a Lok Sabha candidate. Rao Inderjit is currently an MP from Gurugram, but his daughter is active in Mahendragarh Lok Sabha seat. The second option will be Gurugram.

Sources close to Rao Inderjit, popularly known as Rampura House family, said that the Union Minister himself wants the same. BJP can use this kind of experiment to win over Southern Haryana. However, the final decision will be taken by the BJP high command.
Current MP from Gurugram, Rao Inderjit Singh, besides being a minister at the Centre, is a leader with a large support base in Southern Haryana. His hold extends from Gurugram to Bhiwani district. Rao Inderjit Singh has direct influence on about 15 seats. In such a situation, BJP will try to attract voters on these seats through Rao Inderjit Singh.

Aarti Rao’s focus is currently on Mahendragarh district. In such a situation, she can contest elections from Mahendragarh-Bhiwani Lok Sabha seat. Another option is Gurugram Lok Sabha seat.

Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, heir of Rampura House, is a three-time MLAfrom Jatusana seat of Rewari and a five-time MP. He became MP from Mahendragarh Lok Sabha seat twice. After this, he contested the Lok Sabha elections from Gurugram seat in 2009 and has been MP from here for three consecutive times.

At present he is holding the post of Minister of State with Independent Charge in the Central Government. Due to his increasing age, he has activated his daughter Aarti Rao. In the 2019 assembly elections itself, Rao Inderjit Singh tried to make Aarti Rao contest the assembly elections, but BJP did not give ticket to his daughter from Rewari seat. But for a long time, Aarti Rao herself has been declaring that she will definitely contest the elections, but has not yet made it clear from which seat she will contest.

Let us tell you that Rao Inderjit Singh’s father Rao Birendra Singh has also been a veteran leader of Haryana. He was also the CM of Haryana for a few months. Apart from this, he was also a minister in many big ministries in Indira Gandhi’s government. After this he made his son Rao Inderjit Singh his successor. Rao Inderjit Singh started his political career through assembly elections. But later, after contesting the Lok Sabha elections, he joined central politics.

However, he himself had a desire to become CM for a long time. Even after the 2019 assembly elections, there were discussions about his becoming CM, but these discussions did not yield any substance.
