Veteran Korean actor Lee Soon-jae passed away on Tuesday, November 25, at the age of 91. He was one of South Korea’s most celebrated and prolific actors, with a career spanning more than six decades. Over the years, he appeared in around 140 major television dramas, along with numerous films and stage productions.
Lee Soon-jae was born on November 16, 1934. He was 91 years old at the time of his passing.
Lee Soon-jae made his television debut in 1961 with KBS’s first-ever drama Should I Become a Human Too.
Lee Soon-jae graduated from Seoul High School and later attended the prestigious Seoul National University.
Lee Soon-jae wife is Choi Hee-jung. He met her during his university days, as she was the sister of a member of his student theatre troupe.
