Asaduddin Owaisi, MP and head of AIMIM, addressed supporters at a public meeting in Maharashtra during the election campaign. While on stage, the police served him a notice, but he continued his speech, noting it was 9:45 PM and he had 15 minutes left for campaigning. AIMIM is contesting 16 assembly seats in Maharashtra, its only strong base outside Telangana.
