India-Australia ties “on the move”: EAM S Jaishankar announces expansion with consulates, direct flights, educational milestones

In an effort to highlight the “real momentum” between Australia and India, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Tuesday unveiled a number of initiatives, including the opening of new consulates on both sides, direct flight connections, improvements in the field of education, and many more. EAM made the announcements during a press briefing regarding the Framework Dialogue between the foreign ministers of Australia and India. “A real momentum in the India-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership,” according to Jaishankar, who outlined the salient features of the developing partnership.

“We saw new Consulates General on both sides, the Australians in Bengaluru, and we are opening ours in Brisbane,” the EAM stated, summarizing the main conclusions drawn from the discussion. more connections on direct flights. the first Australian universities to open campuses in India. an understanding regarding the reciprocal recognition of educational credentials. EAM Jaishankar met his Australian counterpart, Penny Wong, in the national capital for the Foreign Ministers’ Framework Dialogue on Tuesday morning. The two leaders held discussions on advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
