Under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, presented the Islamic Personality of The Year award to Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The honor was bestowed upon her during the closing ceremony of the 27th edition of The Dubai International Quran Award, recognizing her significant contributions and efforts in supporting various Islamic, humanitarian, charitable, and social causes.
The award was accepted by Sheikh Saeed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on behalf of Sheikha Hind during a remarkable ceremony hosted at The Cultural and Scientific Association in Dubai.
Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed also recognized members of the Award jury alongside the ten recipients. Mohammed Al Ammri from Bahrain emerged as the top honours during the awards ceremony, with Naji bin Sliman from Libya securing second place, and Sheikh Tijan Ambi from Gambia attaining third place.
