In an exchange fire with the Special Operations Group (SOG), two Maoists were killed on Friday in the Koraput district, Koraput.

Talking to the media DIG South Range Rajesh Pandit said, “We received information about the presence of 20 Maoist in the Ramgiri forest area. BSF and SOG Jawans started combing operations. There was an exchange of fire and two Maoists were killed.”

Meanwhile, the police have recovered one tiffin bomb, three country-made guns, five detonators, a mobile charger, Maoist uniforms, and ten sealed packets of Ganja and Maoist materials.
