At least 35 passengers were injured after a bus carrying them overturned and collided with a divider on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in the district, according to authorities.

According to West Agra Deputy Commissioner of Police Somendra Meena, “The incident took place late Sunday night after one of the bus tyres burst at the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. There were 43 passengers onboard the bus.”

According to the official, the bus was on its way to Varanasi from Noida when the tragedy occurred. According to him, 35 passengers were injured in the crash, including two Israeli citizens.

As soon as we learned about the event, a team of police officers arrived on the scene and sent the injured passengers to the hospital, according to a police official.

The injured were sent to SN Hospital for treatment, while the two Israeli citizens were taken to Pushpanjali Hospital. Further details regarding the situation is awaited.
