Two people have been detained for tricking online offenders by issuing fictitious notices from the Delhi Police. The cyber crime cell detained the suspects, who are from Jamtara in Jharkhand.

The crime came to light when the miscreants sent the cybercriminals in the vicinity of the Jamtara police station a phoney notification from the Delhi Police and demanded money.

Three locations were raided by the police, and two men involved in tricking the cybercriminals were taken into custody.

The DSP of the cybercrime cell, Mazharul Hooda, discussed the issue and claimed that false notices were sent to the offenders, claiming that Ranchi Police and Jamtara Cyber Police Station were also aware of it.

The authorities are currently looking into the situation to see how many individuals the accused has deceived.
