Accusing senior officials of interference in his department, Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij has not been disposing of the files of the Health Department for the last one month and the tussle between vij and a senior official continue to remain as he is constantly maintaining distance from departmental work. Amid this, it came to fore that Anij vij has refrained himself from the working of Ayush department and issue has come to the notice of the party high command which is believed to bring the ongoing dispute to an end. Since the assembly and parliamentary polls draw near, the state party leadership is also believed to sour out the issue without any further delay as it has been already a month.
According to the information received, Vij asked the concerned officials why the department is being interfered with, then he was informed that there are such orders from the Centre. Vij was cited as saying that the department has many flaws and is not working properly. Orders have been given to improve the functioning of the department . In this episode, Vij brought the matter to the notice of former party state president Dhankhar, then who divulged the same with Amit Shah during his last visit to Karnal.
Since last month, Anil Vij is not signing any file of the health department these days, there is a spurt in the backlog of files pertaining to departmental work. In fact, the whole issue surfaced after a review meeting of the health department was organized on October 5 without divulging information to Anil Vij which annoyed him. The meeting was chaired by Principal Secretary to CM RK Khullar who is believed not to be on good terms with Anil Vij. Following the matter, Anil Vij raised a strong objection stating that since he holds the portfolio of the department, how such a meeting can take place. Prior to this, Vij has also been face to face with CMO officials.
His distance from the health department is constantly in the news. The reason behind this has come to light that he is not happy with the departmental interference in his health department and due to this he is not looking after the work of the health department. It is noteworthy that he has not been getting along with his senior officers for some time.
