A bus traveling from Tripura to Kolkata was attacked in Bangladesh following a road accident, with passengers being threatened and anti-Indian slogans shouted. The incident occurred in the Brahmanbaria district of Bangladesh after a collision on Vishwa Road.

The Shyamoli Paribahan bus, carrying Indian passengers, was struck by a truck, which caused a crash involving an autorickshaw. After the accident, locals allegedly targeted the bus, threatening the passengers and raising anti-Indian slogans.

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha condemned the attack, warning of potential consequences and recalling India’s role in Bangladesh’s liberation. Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury called the attack deliberate and demanded enhanced security for Indian travelers.

In response, private hospitals in Agartala have stopped treating Bangladeshi patients, and traders in Unakoti have suspended business with Bangladesh.
