“Who Killed Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal?” – Asaduddin Owaisi Challenges Bilawal Bhutto’s Threatening Remarks | Watch

AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has vehemently denounced the recent controversial statements made by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), which were considered provocative and inflammatory. Bilawal Bhutto, at a rally on Friday, reacted to India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty after the Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 25 tourists and a Kashmiri local on April 22. He said, “The Indus is ours and will remain ours – either our water will flow through it, or their blood.”

Asaduddin Owaisi Reacts to Bilawal Bhutto’s “Blood Will Flow” Statement

Asaduddin Owaisi was quick to counterattack, terming Bhutto’s rhetoric irresponsible and childish. Referring to Bhutto’s inciteful remark, Owaisi reminded him of his family members’ tragic demise, advising him to review his losses first before issuing such inflammatory remarks.

Owaisi said, “Forget about such childish talk. He doesn’t know what happened to his grandfather? His mother? His mother was killed by terrorists. So at least, he should not be speaking like this. Do you even know what you are talking about? Unless the US gives you something, you cannot run the country and you are trying to stare us down.”

Owaisi Draws Attention to Terrorism as the Cause of Bhutto’s Demise

The AIMIM chief stressed that Bilawal Bhutto must recall the conditions under which his family members died—his mother, Benazir Bhutto, and his grandfather, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Both were killed in acts of political violence. Owaisi noted that it was terrorism that caused his mother, Benazir Bhutto, to be assassinated in 2007 while attending a rally in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

“He must think who killed his mother. Terrorism killed her. If he doesn’t get that, what will you explain to him? When they shot your mother, it is terrorism. And when they kill our mothers and daughters, it is not?” Owaisi sharply rebuked Bhutto for ignoring the human toll of terrorism.

Asaduddin Owaisi Aims at Pakistani Leaders’ Nuclear Threats

Intensifying his criticism further, Asaduddin Owaisi also attacked Pakistani leaders, who have threatened India with nuclear war. He reminded them that any act of aggression against India, especially against innocent civilians, would not be tolerated. “Remember, if you enter a country and kill innocents, no country will stay silent, no matter who is in power. The way you attacked our country, the way people were asked their religion and shot, what religion are you talking about? You are worse than Khawarij (an Islamic sect considered deviant). You are ISIS sympathisers,” Owaisi remarked.

Strong Reactions from Indian Leaders

Bilawal Bhutto’s provocative remarks have evoked a response from every section of Indian politics. The first to shoot back was Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, who demanded that Bilawal Bhutto get his mental health checked due to the ominous nature of his remarks. “ell him to get his mental condition checked, what kind of statements he is giving. Enough is enough… We will no longer tolerate this. Now wait for a few days,” said Puri.

Congress lawmaker Shashi Tharoor also jumped into the issue, describing Bhutto’s comments as “inflammatory.” He added, “The Pakistanis have to understand that they simply cannot kill Indians with impunity. We have no designs on Pakistan, but if they do something, they must be prepared for a response. If blood is going to flow, it will possibly flow more on their side than ours.”
