In a video message aired at the Global Conference on Space Exploration, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted India’s remarkable journey in space science and technology. His message, recorded a day prior, focused on how India’s space ambitions symbolize not just technological progress, but also national pride and collective aspiration.
“Space is not just a destination. It is a declaration of curiosity, courage and collective progress,” PM Modi said. He reflected on India’s evolution from humble beginnings in 1963, when the country launched its first small rocket, to making history by becoming the first nation to land near the Moon’s south pole.
