The Indian armed forces have unveiled impressive proof of external intervention in the recent belligerence of Pakistan. The Indian military showed during an official press briefing the remnants of a PL-15 air-to-air missile — an advanced Chinese-made weapon that was used by Pakistan against India. Further, wreckage of Turkish-origin drones, specifically YIHA and Songar, which were brought down by India, was also shown.
The test validates the growing involvement of imported combat technology in cross-border hostilities and demonstrates India’s ability to intercept and neutralise such threats quickly and efficiently.
Chinese PL-15 Missile Used by Pakistan
India has also confirmed that Pakistan had the PL-15 missile in its inventory during the latest confrontation. It is a China-made long-range air-to-air missile that comes with sophisticated targeting capabilities. Debris from the missile was retrieved and examined, and a direct identification of the source was achieved.

Indian military experts feel that this is a major change of strategy for Pakistan’s air combat, as now it is depending on cutting-edge Chinese missiles.
Turkish-Origin YIHA and Songar Drones Destroyed
The Indian army also revealed the wreckage of Turkish-made YIHA and Songar drones. These unmanned aerial vehicles were employed in the recent cross-border raids. Indian troops successfully intercepted and shot down these drones during the operations. The YIHA drone is used for surveillance, while the Songar drone is combat-capable and can be equipped with small arms.
Their deployment by Pakistan highlights the increasing deployment of foreign drone technology in regional conflicts.
India’s Firm Reply
India’s military reacted accordingly. They disbanded all oncoming threats and established proof of foreign arms. The wreckage thus acts as absolute evidence of international support in the Pakistan military attacks. This incident also brings to on board questions surrounding increased defence co-operation between Pakistan and countries like China and Turkey.
