Pakistan Deploys Heavy Military Tanks Near Indian Border As Cross-Border Firing Intensifies Rapidly

Tensions at the India-Pakistan border have risen sharply, with heavy firing and more troop movement reported in several sectors. Intelligence sources have indicated that Pakistan has started mobilizing its troops along the Indian border, specifically around Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur districts bordering Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer and Bikaner.

This comes on the heels of the recent drone strikes in Jammu, following which fierce firing has broken out along the International Border (IB) and the Line of Control (LoC). Confirmation is there that heavy fire and shelling are being witnessed in areas such as Poonch, Kupwara, and Samba. There have also been reports of explosions coming from the Punjab and Rajasthan border regions, which indicates a grave escalation.

The Indian military is kept on high alert, watching every development closely, with the stand-by response system in place to respond to any more provocations. The abrupt escalation of tensions has caused worries of an all-out confrontation as the diplomatic channels are quiet amidst the increased build-up of troops.
