During an unexpected visit to the Adampur Air Base, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Indian armed forces personnel and termed Operation Sindoor as a strong symbol of India’s unity, strength, and firm resolve. His tone was inspirational and stern as he reiterated India’s position against combating terrorism and safeguarding its sovereignty.

A Bold Statement: India’s Intentions and Resolve

In his address, PM Modi clarified, “Operation Sindoor is not an ordinary military operation. It is the coming together of India’s policy, intent, and resolve. India is the country of Buddha as well as Guru Gobind Singh Ji.” He thereafter highlighted the prowess and determination of the nation’s forces, recalling the loss of dignity when “the sindoor of our sisters and daughters was stripped away.”

Modi went on to say, “We went into the homes of the terrorists and broke them,” demonstrating the extent of India’s retribution. This remark not only emphasizes India’s willingness to protect its people but also brings attention to the nation’s determination to protect its borders from threats of terror.
