‘NO MORE’: Indian Army Sends Strong Warning in Bold Press Briefing on ‘Operation Sindoor’

With a strong and resolute action, India’s retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack that took place on April 22, 2025, did not take time with the implementation of ‘Operation Sindoor’. This operation to eradicate terror infrastructure from Pakistan and PoK conveys an unambiguous message: India cannot accept cross-border terrorism. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, at the press briefing, set forth the important point regarding the support provided to terrorists by Pakistan, where he indicated Pakistan serves as the terrorists’ haven in the world.

“International terrorists banned from their countries feel secure from being punished here,” Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, depicting a bleak scenario of Pakistan’s role in international terrorism.

He referred to the example of Sajid Mir, a terrorist who was reported dead, only to be discovered alive due to international pressure. Misri’s remarks underscored the long-standing issue of Pakistan’s double game—presenting itself as a victim while harboring terrorists responsible for multiple attacks on India.

Operation Sindoor: Precision Strikes

On the morning of April 25, India launched precision airstrikes against nine terror targets deep inside Pakistan and PoK. The selection of these targets was meticulously planned with strong intelligence inputs, ensuring minimal risk to civilian lives. Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, who addressed the briefing, explained the meticulous selection process.

“Terror targets were selected based on reliable intelligence and their role in cross-border terrorism,” Col Qureshi asserted. Wing Commander Singh added, “The targets were so chosen as to minimize damage to civilian infrastructure and loss of any civilian lives,” reflecting India’s effort to minimize collateral damage.

A Necessary Response for National Security

The press conference also touched upon the increasing danger from Pakistan’s ongoing support for terror activities. “Our intelligence agencies tracking terror activities have reported that there may be further attacks on India, and it was felt necessary to both prevent and deal with them,” Foreign Secretary Misri cautioned.

Although the Pahalgam attack had serious repercussions, Misri stressed that Pakistan has not done anything against terrorist networks since the attack and continued to nurture the violence from the other side.

India’s move during Operation Sindoor is a warning that it will use its right to self-defense when national security is challenged. With the rest of the world now taking closer notice, Pakistan must put a stop to funding terror and put an end to further violence to prevent it from escalating.
