Six-time world champion and Olympic bronze medalist Mary Kom has legally confirmed her divorce from Onkholer Kom, also called Onler, through a legal statement released by her advocate on Wednesday. Mary Kom, in the statement, disclosed that the couple had sealed their divorce on December 20, 2023, according to Kom’s customary law, and both families and clan leaders were present.
The declaration follows growing rumors on social media of Mary Kom’s supposed affair with businessman Hitesh Chaudhary. The speculation gained momentum after the two were spotted holding hands in public. But the 42-year-old boxer forcefully denied being involved in any extramarital activities.
