“India Has a Laxman Rekha —But It Also Has a…,” Modi Warns from Adampur

In a bold and passionate speech from the Adampur Air Base, Prime Minister Narendra Modi indicated that India’s approach to dealing with terrorism has entered a new phase. Invoking the recently completed Operation Sindoor, the Prime Minister once again asserted India’s zero-tolerance policy and drew a sharp red line for any future attack.

“We Will Reply — In Our Way, On Our Time”

India’s ‘Laxman Rekha’ against terror is clear now. If any terror attack is launched now, India will respond — a strong response,” PM Modi asserted, generating nationalistic fervor and ending strategic restraint.

He referred to India’s previous responses, such as the surgical strikes and Balakot air strikes, and asserted that Operation Sindoor now defines the model of how India will respond henceforth. “Now, Operation Sindoor is India’s new normal,” he declared.

Three Pillars of India’s New Doctrine

Modi outlined three definite principles:
First, if there is any terrorist attack on India, we will respond in our style, on our terms, on our time. Second, India will not accept any nuclear blackmail. Third, we will not differentiate between terror-supporting governments and terror masterminds,” he said.

A Message to the World

Modi stressed that the international community now sees and acknowledges India’s assertive approach. “The world too is proceeding by coming to understand India’s new shape, its new structure,” he claimed, indicating a wider change in international diplomacy and defence strategy.

With this sharp and clear address, PM Modi turned India’s counterterrorism policy into an active doctrine. Adampur sent a clear message to the world — India will confront any threat to its sovereignty with firm and decisive force.
