The Indian government has released dramatic visuals sourced from Pakistani social media, showcasing the precision and impact of Operation Sindoor, a coordinated overnight strike by India’s tri-services on nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
These visuals mark the first public evidence of India’s military response to the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, where 26 people, mostly civilians, were gunned down at the tourist hotspot of Baisaran Valley.
Strikes Light Up the Night Sky
One of the videos shows a crowd gathered on a busy road late at night. A large orange glow appears on the horizon, accompanied by rising smoke. Moments later, a whistling sound fills the air, followed by a massive explosion — likely the detonation of an Indian missile. The man recording the clip stumbles backward as the sky erupts into a fireball, prompting shouts and prayers in Arabic from panicked bystanders.

In another video, shot from a moving car near a police checkpoint, a passenger is heard uttering the word “bomb” just seconds before a second explosion lights up the distance in a fiery blast.
India’s Arsenal: SCALP, Hammer, and Loitering Munitions
Officials confirmed the use of advanced weaponry in the strikes, including SCALP air-launched cruise missiles and Hammer smart bombs, both capable of deep-penetration strikes. Additionally, India deployed loitering munitions—drone-borne missiles designed to hover above targets and strike with precision, either autonomously or via remote guidance.
Terror Targets Neutralised
The strikes, carried out at 1:44 AM, specifically targeted training hubs belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen—groups with a long history of orchestrating attacks against India, including 26/11 in Mumbai and the 2019 Pulwama bombing. Officials stated that The Resistance Front, a Lashkar-linked outfit, was behind the recent Pahalgam massacre.
India had earlier provided evidence to global powers—including the US, Russia, China, and European nations—alleging that Pakistan’s deep state had planned the April 22 assault.
Retaliation Sparks Cross-Border Violence
Hours after the Indian strikes, Pakistan’s military launched what officials described as “arbitrary and indiscriminate firing” across the Line of Control and International Border. The heavy shelling claimed the lives of three civilians on the Indian side.
“The Indian Army is responding in a proportionate manner,” said an official statement. Sources confirmed that Pakistan’s forces also suffered casualties in India’s counter-fire.
