Jammu has again been at the center of cross-border hostilities, with intense shelling and boisterous explosions being heard last night. Amidst the mayhem, former Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP), Dr. SP Vaid, delivered a passionate and fiery message from the ground.

“I am giving this report from Jammu. I have counted 40 to 50 blasts in the last hour. And our S-400 air defense system is also performing extremely well,” said Vaid, reiterating the ferocity of the attack. He informed that several civilian locations, including the airport in Jammu, were probable targets but were intercepted by Indian defense systems effectively.

Adding a spiritual tenor of strength, Vaid declared, “But I also want to tell you that Mother Vaishno Devi has always supported Jammu. And we will not suffer any loss.”

In an incendiary tweet earlier, Vaid asserted, “Jammu is attacked. I said it before, and I’m saying it again today. This time under fire. Pakistan will be divided into four parts. Jai Hind.”

He repeated the need for India’s swift response: “Now India must teach Pakistan a lesson. They are shelling all the civilian areas. Now they must get their due. And Pakistan’s status should end. Thank you.”

With growing tension on the border after Operation Sindoor, Vaid’s comment reflects the gravity of the situation and growing demands for strong action.
