As a resident of Florida himself, Trump said words of faith and encouragement to Floridians to continue on in strength. “I want to pray to God be with you, and we know God is with you,” he said. He reminded them that their losses have been sizeable, but not alone in these events.
Reflecting on the Floridians’ strength of resilience, Trump lauded the people’s fortitude in braving other storms in the past while being hopeful for their recovery from Hurricane Milton. “Together we will recover, and we will come back stronger, bigger, better than ever before,” he added as he called on the state’s residents to be united and not leave behind each other.
Trump also called on Floridians to look out for one another, saying, “Please keep your faith strong and look out for one another because the sun will shine again over that beautiful Florida that we love so much.”
He ended it all with a message of hope. He said that Florida will rise again and will be stronger than ever and concluded with a deep, “God bless.”.
This hurricane has caused the most terrible destruction in Florida; recovery efforts will probably go on for quite a long time.
