Former Kalka MLA Latika Sharma emphasised that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to a developed India can only be realized when all of us collectively extend the benefits of government welfare schemes to every individual in need.
Addressing as the chief guest during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Jansamvad programme at the Government Senior Secondary School in the village of Toda, Khand Raipurrani, Sharma highlighted the importance of ensuring that the benefits of Central and State Government schemes reach every citizen. Sarpanch Jasmeet Kaur and other dignitaries warmly welcomed the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra upon its arrival in the village.
Sharma stressed that through the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, various government departments are establishing information stalls in every village to educate people about the available schemes, encouraging more individuals to take advantage of them.
He urged officials to fulfill their responsibilities diligently to ensure that no eligible person is deprived of the scheme benefits, emphasizing that this is essential for realizing the dream of a developed India.
During the event, Sharma visited stalls set up by various departments, inquiring about the benefits provided under Central and State Government welfare schemes. He distributed certificates to beneficiaries of old age pension and other programs, administered the oath of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Jansamvad to the attendees, and honored children participating in the cultural program with citations.
