The first peer-reviewed results of phase 1 and phase 2 clinical trials of SPUTNIK-V(Russia’s first Covid vaccine) have been published in the medical journal called The Lancet. Russia faced criticism and scepticism last month on its announcement of the world’s first approved coronavirus vaccine for public use before phase 3 trials were completed. It was also said that Russia didn’t have any initial scientific data and it was a 42-day trial which was done on 38 health participants.
