Ahead of Independence Day, Section-144 has been imposed in Delhi given the possibility of a terrorist attack by a drone or other aerial object on the occasion of August 15. Meanwhile, preparations for Independence Day are in full swing in the capital Delhi.

Furthermore, the police have also banned the use of drone cameras, paragliders, and tie aircraft for security. Issuing the order in the matter on Friday, Commissioner of Police Rakesh Asthana said that appropriate action will be taken for violating the order.

According to the police, some criminals, anti-social elements, or anti-India terrorists may pose a threat to the security of the general public and dignitaries by using sub-conventional aerial platforms.

Moreover, these orders given by the Commissioner of Police will continue from July 22 to August 16. Under this, any kind of small-sized powered aircraft, quad-copters, and even para-jumping from aircraft have been banned.

However, a team of police will keep an eye on all the activities. If any person is found violating the orders, strict action will be taken against them.
