After Edappadi Palaniswami was sworn in as the party’s general secretary on August 20 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party is getting ready to hold its first state conference.

This conference, which will be a turning point for the party, will draw more than 20 lakh AIADMK members, according to AIADMK leader R Kamaraj. Palaniswami will also choose which alliance members to invite to the meeting. The conference is being held in an effort to inspire party members and solidify the return of the late former CM Jayalalithaa’s rule.

R Kamaraj, the leader of the AIADMK, declared on Wednesday that this conference would mark a turning point for the party. This conference will be conducted in a way that will officially reinstate the rule of the late former chief minister Jayalalithaa. More than 20 lakh AIADMK employees are expected to attend this meeting. The decision regarding inviting alliance parties to this meeting will be made by Edappadi K. Palaniswami.

Meanwhile, earlier on July 20, AIAMDK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami said that he believes that the NDA coalition will take home about 330 seats in the next parliamentary elections.

Edappadi Palaniswami, the leader of the opposition in Tamil Nadu, told the media about the NDA meeting in Delhi that the NDA performed admirably for the nine years that Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the government and that it earned India respect abroad.
