Who knew a craving for quality baked goods could spark a culinary revolution? Certainly not Aavika Chhawchharia, until she noticed Delhi’s bakery scene was flatter than a failed soufflé. Armed with a whisk and a dream, Aavika and her husband decided to knead some life into the capital’s baked goods market, and voilà! Honey & Dough was born in 2016.

What started as a cozy neighborhood nook for carb enthusiasts has now risen like perfectly proofed dough into a full-fledged café chain. No longer content with merely satisfying sweet tooths, Honey & Dough now tickles taste buds with a menu that reads like a globetrotter’s food diary. Volcano pizzas that erupt with flavor? Check. Burgers so exotic they need their own passports? You bet. Tacos that do the cha-cha in your mouth? Absolutely!

“We wanted to be the Swiss Army knife of bakeries,” quips Aavika, “capable of slicing through any craving, whether it’s for a croissant or a burrito bowl. Our customers demanded more, so we said ‘Oui, oui!’ and went full café.”

With technology more cutting-edge than a bread knife and hygiene standards higher than a soufflé, Honey & Dough has won hearts faster than you can say “Bon appétit!” This French-inspired patisserie, birthed by ANR International Pvt. Ltd. and ANR Foodworks LLP, has become the toast of the town (pun absolutely intended).

Now, like a batch of ambitious cookies, Honey & Dough is ready to spread across India’s baking sheet. By October 2024, they plan to sprinkle five new outlets across Noida, Punjabi Bagh, Model Town, GK, and Gurgaon. Each new café will be a little slice of Paris, minus the accordion players and mimes.

“We’re not just opening cafés; we’re plotting a pastry revolution!” Aavika declares with a glint in her eye. “Today Delhi NCR, tomorrow the world! We’ll keep whisking up new flavors and ideas faster than you can say ‘Is that gluten-free?’”

So, whether you’re a bread head, a coffee fiend, or just someone who appreciates a good pun with their bun, keep your eyes peeled for the expanding Honey & Dough empire. After all, in the world of cafés, these folks are on a roll!
