The 3rd Swaavlambika Samman Awards 2023, organised by EBS India Inc., was held this week at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.

The event was aimed at recognising women achievers from different walks of life, including the arts, entrepreneurship, education, innovation, legal, social impact, media, and more.

The Chief Guest on the occasion, Hem Kumar Pande, Former Secretary Ministry of Consumer Affairs, while addressing the gathering at the award ceremony, talked about the importance of recognising the role of women in our society. “It is often seen in the male dominated society we live in where the contribution of women often goes unreported and unappreciated.”

He further added, “This is a huge overall loss to society.” It is exemplary that women achievers are being recognised today at this platform. Such recognitions will help disseminate many success stories, which will in turn inspire many other young girls to grow up and achieve their dreams.

Founder of EBS India Inc. and convenor for Swaavlambika Samman Awards, Chavi Hemanth, emphasised that “parenting is an important aspect of empowering women, as it is through parenting that children learn about gender roles, expectations, and behaviour.”
