Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh has written a letter to CBI director to constitute a new forensic team to investigate the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Vikas Singh, in a press conference on Wednesday, made a sensational revelation, wherein he revealed that the AIIMS forensics head, Dr Sudhir Gupta, had told him upon seeing Sushant’s post-death photos that it was strangulation and could not have been death by hanging.

He said, “When I sent Sudhir Gupta photos taken by Sushant’s sister he immediately commented it’s death by strangulation and can’t be death by hanging. But if a person can make such a casual comment and then immediately upturn it, then what credibility can be assigned to this person.” Vikas also added, “Cooper had done several informities, such as post-mortem in the night, no record of injuries and moreover AIIMS’ forensic team didn’t have Sushant’s body, their job wasn’t to conduct an autopsy, they only have to provide opinion on Cooper hospital’s work in the entire matter.”

He also threatened to approach the courts if CBI and Medical Council of India don’t take action against them. “AIIMS conduct is questionable, their doctors come to TV channels to share the opinion when the report is not shared in the public and such statements by the team of doctors are against the Medical Council of India’s ethical guidelines.

Their work was to only give a medico-legal opinion. They shouldn’t have given statements to the press. The CBI should also look into their conduct,” said Vikas.
