MUMBAI: Punjab’s Shortly before he took a flight back to Bihar, Patna (Central) Superintendent of Police (SP) Vinay Tiwari on Friday alleged that “it is not me, but the Sushant Singh Rajput probe that was quarantined”. Released from quarantine by the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) after six days and directed to leave Mumbai before Saturday (August 8) as per the Covid-19 protocols, Tiwari said, “The Maharashtra government did not isolate me, but quarantined the probe into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.”
He claimed that this attitude of the Maharashtra government has had an opposite effect on Sushant’s suicide case. Tiwari added that he was not informed by any BMC official personally that he could walk free from quarantine. “The BMC merely sent me a message and I am proceeding to Patna accordingly,” he said.
In a late night order on Thursday, BMC Additional Municipal Commissioner P. Velrasu permitted Tiwari to be relieved from home quarantine. The development came after the Bihar Police wrote to the BMC on Thursday saying Tiwari should be released from quarantine to facilitate his return to his home state to resume his duties.
The Bihar Police also pointed out that he was no longer required in Mumbai and his arrival period was within seven days. An IPS officer of 2015 batch, Tiwari had arrived here from Patna on August 2 to probe the case related to Bollywood actor Sushant’s death. However, as per the Covid-19 protocols, he was shunted to home quarantine at the SRPF Guest House in Goregaon, even as Bihar Police cried foul although the BMC said that it was merely following the due procedures.

Don’t visit Indian parts that border Pakistan, warns Canada, due to “landmine threats”
Canada has issued a bizarre travel advisory to its citizen regarding travelling to India. It advises not travelling to parts of Gujarat, Punjab and Rajasthan which share a border with Pakistan due to the “presence of landmines” and “unpredictable security situation.”
The advisory states, “Avoid all travel to areas within 10 km of the border with Pakistan in the following states due to the unpredictable security situation and presence of landmines and unexploded ordnance: Gujarat, Punjab Rajasthan,” The travel advisory put out by the Canadian Govt also asks its citizens to be extra cautious while travelling in India due to “threat of terrorist attacks throughout the country.”
It also urges people to avoid non-essential travel to Assam and Manipur “due to the risk of terrorism and insurgency.”
Incidentally, India had on September 23 issued an advisory for Indian nationals and students in Canada to remain vigilant amid increasing incidents of crimes and anti-India activities in the country.
“There has been a sharp increase in incidents of hate crimes, sectarian violence and anti-India activities in Canada. The Ministry of External Affairs and our High Commission/Consulates General in Canada have taken up these incidents with the Canadian authorities and requested them to investigate the said crimes and take appropriate action,” the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.
“In view of the increasing incidences of crimes as described above, Indian nationals and students from India in Canada and those proceeding to Canada for travel/education are advised to exercise due caution and remain vigilant,” the statement added.
The advisory also said Indian nationals and students from India in Canada may also register with the High Commission of India in Ottawa or the Consulates General of India in Toronto and Vancouver through their respective websites, or the MADAD portal madad.gov.in.
Owaisi opposes PFI ban, says ‘every Muslim youth will now be arrested’
The leader of AIMIM, Asaduddin Owaisi, criticised the Popular Front of India’s five-year suspension while making it clear that his stand is not in favour of PFI either.
From his opposition to the UAPA, he said a draconian ban of this kind is dangerous as it is a ban on any Muslim who wishes to speak his mind. “The way India’s electoral autarky is approaching fascism, every Muslim youth will now be arrested with a PFI pamphlet under India’s black law, UAPA,” he tweeted.
Muslims have spent decades in prison before being acquitted by courts. I have opposed UAPA & will always oppose all actions under UAPA. It runs afoul the principle of liberty, which is part of basic structure of the constitution,” Owaisi tweeted.
Owaisi claimed that this case will follow the timeline of Siddique Kappan, a journalist from Kerala who was detained in 2020 while heading to Hathras, where any activist or journalist is unjustly imprisoned and it takes two years to even obtain bail. To report the gangrape and murder of a Dalit woman, Kappan was heading to Hathras. The Uttar Pradesh government filed charges against him under the UAPA. After serving two years in prison, Kappan was released on bail in 2022.
“How come PFI is banned but organisations associated with convicts of Khaja Ajmeri bomb blasts aren’t? Why has govt not banned right wing majoritarian organisations?” Owaisi said.
Owaisi said he always opposed PFI’s approach but he can’t support the ban on the PFI. “Actions of some individuals who commit crime does not mean that the organisation itself must be banned,” the Hyderabad MP said.
Centre orders the blocking of PFI websites, social media accounts, and affiliates
People familiar with the development said that hours after the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its eight affiliate or frontal organisations were banned under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), the Centre issued a “takedown” order to block these organisations’ websites and social media accounts so that they could not propagate their activities.
The official websites, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram accounts, YouTube channels, or any other online presence of PFI, Rehab India Foundation (RIF), Campus Front of India (CFI), All India Imams Council (AIIC), National Confederation of Human Rights Organization (NCHRO), National Women’s Front, Junior Front, Empower India Foundation, and Rehab Foundation (Kerala) are being permanently blocked as part of the “takedown” order, and contents posted by them are being removed.
PFI, RIF, and AIIC websites had already been blocked at the time of filing this report. Others are being processed on the orders of the Department of Telecommunications, based on referrals from central agencies, according to an unnamed official.
According to this source, references are being sent to social media companies such as Facebook and Twitter to remove their accounts and any content related to PFI, which is now a terror organisation.
PFI, as an “illegal association,” will not issue any press statements through any official channel.
Furthermore, according to a second official familiar with the situation, official WhatsApp accounts linked to PFI, CFI, RIF, and other affiliates will be monitored, and any anti-national activity will be prosecuted.
According to the second officer, if the PFI or any of its affiliates open any proxy social media accounts or websites for their activities, those can now be blocked as well.
Why Whatflix is the best LMS for corporate training?
For a considerable period of time, the concept of corporate training has evolved, around LMS that turn out to be functional in nature. It would be good for compliance, along with formal training, as it is not taking the level of learning to the next level. Companies are experiencing a visible drop in learning rates. With skills gaps widening, it has gone on to become inevitable, and the best LMS for corporate training would be of help. The term AI would be for most of us could conjure the image of robots capable of serving. Let us figure out the benefits
The learning pathway is personalized
As far as the future of learning and development is concerned the future appears to be personalization. No longer the one-size-fits approach is bound to work for all. With the aid of machine learning and artificial intelligence, learning and development would be able to figure out human behaviour. There are certain types of behaviour that warrant a better response from the end of the users. Apart from this, there are intelligent content creation systems that collect data from multiple web and internal sources. With an AI-based module it would be able to share feedback and cater to the needs of each and every employee.
Training is to be reinforced and goes on to enhance the competition rate
A trend that emerges is that learners end up forgetting 90 % of the things that they have gone on to learn. The worst part is that all of them tend to be within a week. It is with the aid of micro tools like Whatflix that does help to address the gaps in a major way. Just imagine a session where an employee is taking part in a video session and they do not have an idea on how to use them. Then an interactive whatflix video will guide them about the process in detail.
They are also able to figure out the learning obstacle of the user and the guided walkthrough goes on to provide them with relevant information catering to their tastes. The best part is that their integration is possible with your LMS tool so that you are in a position to track on how the users are engaging with an inbuilt app. AI is bound to make learning concise and personalized so that it has a major role to play in enhancing competition rates.
Content is to be developed in terms of a scale
The creation of content at a dynamic scale works out to be important for a business that follows an agile approach. Tools like whatflix would go on to integrate with the various sources and goes on to provide the best form of content for your app. It is helpful when it goes on to automate the entire content in a series of steps. But come the next wave of content would focus more on developing machine learning. AI is expected to cope up with the demand of fresh content for the needs of your organization.
The focus is more on human interactions
Due to the fact that skills tend to have a shorter life than before the need of the hour is to be conducing training sessions on a regular basis. Here the game changers turn out to be AI virtual monitoring tools that go on to automate repeated tasks. What it does is that provide free time to the L and D department as they can divert their time on tasks that require attention. An example in this regard would be a face to face training session.
The effectiveness of the training is measured
It goes on to track the progress of the learner on a recurring basis. Hence the need of the hour is to formulate a program based on the needs of the learner that incorporates MI and AI. The leaders are able to obtain inputs on key parameters, such as employees learn and obtain feedback in an amicable manner.
An example is that if you find that there is a drop in the value of a course, AI can figure out the reasons on why this turns out to be the case.
What Bibles Do Non-Denominational Churches Use?
Non-denominational churches are a growing movement, and they’re reaching out to diverse groups of people to give them the church they want. What denominations do they follow? Who supplies their Bibles? In this article, we’ll explore non-denominational beliefs and practices.
The Bible Isn’t About Denominations or Non-Denominational Belief Systems
The Bible is our guide for living out our faith in today’s world. It’s not about what church you go to, what church you belong to, or even if you’re a member of any church at all. The Bible is not just for Christians, but also for non-Christians who want to know God and follow Him.
When Does a Non-Denominational Church Become a Denomination?
A group of people who want to form a new church will often refer to themselves as “non-denominational” because they do not want to be associated with any particular religious group or organization. However, when they start growing in numbers and experience an increase in attendance, they may decide to become more formally organized so that they can be better able to meet the needs of their members and gain access to government funding.
What are the Beliefs of a Non-Denominational Church?
Non-denominational churches are churches that have no particular affiliation with a certain denomination. They are typically formed by people who have left their previous denominations, and they may also have a high number of members who have been members of other denominations. The beliefs of a non-denominational church include the belief in God and the Bible, but it is not limited to those two things.
How Do You Know if a Church is Non-Denominational?
The first thing to consider is whether or not the church has a statement of faith. If it does, then you can be certain that they are following the Bible and not some other book.
If a church has a statement of faith, then it will be listed in the “About” section of its website. This means that if you go to their website and click on “About Us” you should see it.
The second way to find out if a church is non-denominational is by looking at its beliefs. In most cases, non-denominational churches believe in God and accept Jesus Christ as their savior.
To determine if a church is non-denominational, all you have to do is look at its teachings and see if they match up with what Jesus taught us in the Bible.
What Bibles Do Non-Denominational Churches Use?
Non-Denominational churches are a growing trend in American Christianity. The term is used to describe churches that do not affiliate with any specific denomination and instead choose to be part of a broader Christian community.
The most common religious texts for non-denominational churches include the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV), the New Living Translation (NLT), and the New King James Version (NKJV). Other versions of the Bible are also popular among these congregations, although they are typically used alongside one of these translations when reading from scripture during services.
How to Improve Digestive Health: From Daily Support to Digestion Remedies
Did you know that your digestive system is responsible for more than just digesting food? In fact, it’s essential for your overall health and well-being!
Unfortunately, many people don’t realize this until they experience stomach problems or indigestion.
Let’s discuss some common digestive problems, what causes them, and how to improve your digestive health with diet, lifestyle, and supplements.
Common Digestive Disorders and Stomach Problems
There are a variety of common digestive disorders and stomach problems that can disrupt your daily life. While some may be mild and only cause temporary discomfort, others can be more severe and cause chronic symptoms. They range from mild stomach cramps to severe gas pains, and everything in between.
Some common digestive disorders include:
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
IBS is a common disorder that affects the large intestine and is characterized by abdominal cramps, diarrhea or constipation, bloating, and gas. The exact cause of IBS is unknown, but it is thought to be related to a combination of psychological and physical factors.
Common triggers include:
- Hormonal changes
- Certain foods (e.g., gluten, soy, eggs, nuts, dairy products, or processed foods)
- Medications (e.g., antibiotics and antispasmodics)
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
GERD is a chronic condition that occurs when stomach acid flows back up into the esophagus. It is often caused by a malfunctioning of the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which is a ring of muscle that separates the stomach from the esophagus.
When the LES is weak or relaxed, it can allow stomach acid to flow back up into the esophagus, leading to hot burps or discomfort. Acid reflux is a common cause of GERD, but it can also be caused by other factors like:
- Hiatal hernia
- Certain medications (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs))
Ulcers are open sores that form on the lining of the stomach or small intestine. These cause uncomfortable bloating, blood in your stool, nausea, and other symptoms of general digestive discomfort.
While there are several possible causes of ulcers, one of the most common is an infection by the Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria. Stress and smoking are also thought to contribute to the development of ulcers.
In some cases, ulcers may be caused by a condition known as stress gastritis. This occurs when the stomach is unable to properly process the increased amount of acid that is produced during periods of stress.
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
IBD is a condition that results in inflammation of the digestive tract. Someone with IBD often has excessive bouts of diarrhea, blood in their stools, fatigue, and a decreased appetite.
The two most common types of IBD are ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Ulcerative colitis affects the large intestine, while Crohn’s disease can affect any part of the digestive tract.
While the exact cause of IBD is unknown, there are several theories about what may contribute to its development.
One theory suggests that IBD is an autoimmune disorder, meaning that the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue. Another theory posits that IBD is caused by a bacteria or virus. A third possibility is that IBD is hereditary.
Whatever the cause, IBD can be a very debilitating condition, causing abdominal pain, cramping, diarrhea, and weight loss.
Gastrointestinal cancers are those that form in the digestive tract. There are several hundred types of GI cancer, but the four most common are:
- Gastric cancer
- Colorectal cancer
- Pancreatic cancer
- Hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer)
While there are many potential causes of GI cancers, some of the most common include:
- Heavy alcohol use
- Chronic inflammation of the GI tract
- Certain infections (e.g., Helicobacter pylori or hepatitis B and C)
- Family history of GI cancers
- Certain genetic syndromes (e.g., Lynch syndrome or familial adenomatous polyposis)
Diarrhea is defined as having three or more loose or watery stools per day. While it can be unpleasant, diarrhea is usually not serious and will resolve itself within a few days.
However, some people experience chronic diarrhea, which is defined as diarrhea that lasts for more than four weeks. Chronic diarrhea can be caused by a variety of factors, including:
- Viral infections
- Change in diet
- Food allergies
- Food poisoning
- Certain medications (e.g., antibiotics, antacids, and laxatives)
Chronic constipation is defined as having three or fewer bowel movements per week. It is a condition that affects the large intestine, or colon.
When the colon does not function properly, wastes can build up and become hardened, making bowel movements difficult or impossible. Constipation leads to extreme abdominal discomfort and hard stools that are painful to pass.
Common causes of chronic constipation include:
- Diet that is low in fiber
- Lack of exercise
- Medications (e.g., antacids, calcium channel blockers, antipsychotics, iron supplements, and certain antidepressants)
Gastroenteritis, also called the stomach flu, is inflammation of the stomach and intestines that can be caused by a number of different factors. Most commonly, it is caused by a virus, such as the norovirus. Other common causes of gastroenteritis include bacteria, such as E. coli or Salmonella, and parasites, such as Giardia.
In some cases, gastroenteritis may also be caused by food poisoning or an allergic reaction to food.
How to Improve Digestive Health
No one wants to live with stomach pains, abdominal cramps, chronic constipation, or symptoms of diarrhea. Here are a few simple things that can help you achieve a healthy digestive system.
A Balanced Diet
Helping your body properly digest food is essential for good health, yet many people suffer from digestive problems that limit their ability to extract nutrients from their food. Fortunately, there are a number of things you can do to improve your gut health through diet.
First, eat plenty of fiber-rich foods such as fruits and vegetables. A high-fiber diet keeps the digestive system functioning properly by providing bulk and keeping things moving.
Second, drink plenty of fluids. Water is essential for all bodily functions, including digestion. Like fiber, this keeps things loose and flowing throughout your gastrointestinal tract.
Third, avoid trigger foods that can aggravate digestive problems. Although there are different for everyone, common triggers include:
- Spicy foods
- Fatty and fried foods (e.g., fries, burgers, and chips)
- Acidic foods (e.g, citrus fruits and tomato sauce)
- Processed foods (e.g, artificial sweeteners and cheese)
A Healthy Lifestyle
Many people experience stomach problems at some point in their lives, and while some issues may be related to underlying health conditions, others may be the result of poor lifestyle choices.
Making simple changes to your daily routine, such as getting enough sleep or avoiding smoking, are important for optimal digestive health.
Additionally, don’t forget to exercise regularly. Staying physically active is key to keep everything moving properly. Exercise stimulates the muscles in your digestive system to make things flow smoothly.
Finally, manage healthy stress levels. Stress can have a negative impact on digestion — and your holistic health as well. Fortunately, there are a number of effective stress management techniques you can try, such as yoga or meditation.
With Digestion Supplements
Regardless of our diet or lifestyle, sometimes our digestive system needs a little help. Digestive supplements can provide the nutrients our guts need to function properly.
- Digestive enzymes. They can provide enzymes that help us break down food. Enzymes are proteins that accelerate chemical reactions in our body, and they are essential for proper digestion. If we don’t have enough enzymes, we may not be able to properly digest our food, which can lead to indigestion, gas, and bloating.
- Probiotics. Digestive supplements can also provide probiotics, which are live bacteria that promote healthy gut flora (a balance of good and bad probiotic bacteria). Probiotics can help with conditions like irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. They may also help prevent infections and reduce inflammation.
- Collagen. In addition, digestive supplements can promote collagen production. Collagen is a protein that keeps our gut lining healthy and strong. A strong gut lining is important for preventing leaks and promoting proper absorption of nutrients.
Enzymes for Digestion
Digestive enzymes are proteins that stimulate the breakdown of food into smaller, absorbable molecules.
There are three main types of digestive enzymes:
- Proteases, which break down proteins.
- Lipases, which break down fats.
- Amylases, which break down carbohydrates.
Each type of enzyme has a specific purpose, meaning that proteases will only break down proteins, lipases will only break down fats, and amylases will only break down carbohydrates.
In the human digestive system, these enzymes are produced by the pancreas and the small intestine. They can also be found in fermented foods and probiotic supplements.
How do digestive enzymes work? In order for enzymes to function properly, they must be able to bind to specific molecules. Once an enzyme has bound to its molecule, it will undergo a chemical reaction to simplify that molecule. This reaction is known as catalytic activity, and it is how enzymes help to speed up the digestive process.
Benefits of Digestive Enzymes
Digestive enzymes have a number of other health benefits, in addition to aiding digestion. They can also:
- Help to reduce inflammation throughout the body
- Boost immunity
- Help to prevent some types of cancer
- Support weight loss goals
- Allow you to eat foods that used to cause digestive problems
Best Digestive Enzyme Supplement
Enzymedica Digest Gold
The gold standard in digestive enzymes is Digest Gold by Enzymedica. It provides complete digestive support with a full spectrum of enzymes. This supplement can help you break down your food more effectively, making it easier for your body to absorb the nutrients it needs.
But that’s not all! Digest Gold can also help to reduce gas and bloating, and may even be helpful for those who suffer from occasional heartburn.
Probiotics for Digestion
Probiotics are live bacteria that are beneficial to the body, particularly the digestive system. They are often referred to as “good” or “helpful” bacteria because they maintain a balance of healthy gut flora.
Probiotics can be found in many fermented foods such as yogurt, sauerkraut, and kimchi, or can be taken in supplement form.
Benefits of Probiotics
In addition to helping replenish good bacteria, probiotics offer a range of health benefits:
- Improved digestion
- Reduced bloating
- Lower risk of gastrointestinal infections
- Stronger immune system
- Reduced anxiety and depression symptoms
- Better skin health
- Reduced risk of some chronic diseases
Additionally, probiotics can also help replenish good bacteria after antibiotics. Unfortunately, antibiotics can kill off both good and bad bacteria, leading to a number of unpleasant side effects like diarrhea, nausea, and fatigue.
If you have experienced stomach issues after antibiotics, a probiotic may be right for you. Studies have shown that probiotics can help reduce the duration and severity of antibiotic-associated diarrhea, as well as improve symptoms of other GI disorders like irritable bowel syndrome.

Collagen for Gut Health
Although it is most commonly associated with youthful skin and radiant beauty, collagen is actually the most abundant protein in the human body. In fact, it makes up 75% of our skin and 90% of our ligaments, and it is also found in our tendons, muscles, bones, blood vessels, and gut.
Our bodies naturally produce collagen, yet it can be depleted by certain factors, such as poor diet, stress, and aging. This is why supplementing with collagen can help maintain digestive health and prevent various digestive problems.
Benefits of Collagen for Gut Health
Collagen forms a major part of our gut’s lining and is responsible for many important functions:
- Helps heal the gut’s lining, which is essential to improve digestion and absorb nutrients.
- Reduce inflammation and restores balance to the immune system.
- Protects against harmful bacteria and toxins by forming a barrier to prevents these substances from crossing the gut lining.

Best Supplements for Gut Inflammation
Inflammation is often at the root of gastrointestinal issues. From overgrown bacteria to a weakened immune response, the cause of gut inflammation varies. Fortunately, there are helpful ways to reduce this inflammation so you can avoid the common and unpleasant symptoms of this gut disorder.
Curcumin for Inflammation of the Gut
Curcumin is one of the most widely sought after herbal nutrients to alleviate inflammation. While we typically hear about curcumin’s benefits for achy joints and sore muscles, its anti-inflammatory effects don’t end there.
