In preparation for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, will unveil the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) “Kejriwal’s Guarantees” on Saturday. The announcement will take place during a town hall event in Panchkula, according to PTI.

The town hall will start at 1 PM at Indradhanush Auditorium in Panchkula. AAP Haryana unit president Sushil Gupta stated that the event will feature several notable figures, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Singh and Sandeep Pathak, along with all AAP leaders from Haryana.

Gupta also revealed that AAP is gearing up to contest all 90 assembly seats in Haryana. “The Aam Aadmi Party is preparing for 90 assembly seats, with ongoing preparations at every booth. People in Haryana want the same 24-hour electricity, water, and employment opportunities that Delhi and Punjab have,” he said. He also emphasized the party’s commitment to addressing issues like drug abuse and crime in the state.

Earlier, in the recent Lok Sabha elections, AAP had contested one seat in Haryana as part of an alliance with Congress. However, this time AAP will run independently.

Sandeep Pathak, AAP’s national general secretary and a Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab, had previously launched the party’s campaign for Haryana’s assembly elections in Karnal on June 25.

Sunita Kejriwal was scheduled to lead the town hall but had to miss it due to her husband Arvind Kejriwal’s bail hearing in the Delhi excise policy case. Arvind Kejriwal is currently in judicial custody related to this case.

The Haryana Assembly Elections 2024 are expected to be held on or before October 2024, as the current Assembly’s term ends on November 3 this year.
