The seventh edition of Pariksha pe Charcha, an eagerly awaited novel initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, was enthusiastically viewed by the examinees of the session.
In yet another novel initiative this year, the program was livestreamed in all private and government schools of Chandigarh. A special screening was arranged in the auditorium of PM Shri GGMSSS18 where Honourable Governor Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh, Banwari Lal Purohit, graced the occasion with his presence. Adviser to the Administrator Nitin Kumar Goyal, Secretary Education Hargunjit Kaur, Director School Education HPS Brar, Dy Director School Education III Neena Kalia, DDSE IV Ms. Prabhjot Kaur, DEO Bindu Arora registered their presence in the program.

It is worth mentioning that Shiny Arora from St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School Sector 44 and Sukhmani Sarang from PM Shri GGMSSS18 have been selected to be a part of the mega event at Bharat Mandapam New Delhi.

This year the PPC was extended to students from class VI onwards which resulted in record-breaking registration of more than 20 million. Today, around 85,000 students and 6700 teachers in all the Govt, Private and Private Aided schools of UT Chandigarh viewed the live session.

Before the final PPC 2024, our worthy PM Modi posted on X, “most memorable gathering of #ExamWarriors, ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, to collectively strategize on ways to beat exam stress.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi kept the audience glued to the screens with his witty replies. His answers were simple, relatable, and driven out of his own experiences. From laying emphasis on ‘Practice’ to keeping focus on the fitness worthy, the Prime minister told the importance of mental and physical health. His example of recharging the body as the mobile needs recharging was applauded by one and all. He laid special emphasis on keeping ‘Self-belief’ and Discipline. In his address, he talked in detail about the mental fitness and mental readiness of the students. He appealed to parents to follow normal behavior with their wards. He advises students to walk into the examination hall with a smile and get indulged with friends in fun conversations.

His key remarks on healthy competition and challenges that act as inspirations seemed to be the true ‘Guru Mantra’ for a stress-free and successful life. A nutritious diet, daily exercise, sound sleep are key factors for a healthy mindset. He also told the young ones not to waste their time watching reels on social media. Trusting has an important role to play in the minds of students.

Teachers and parents must ensure there is no trust deficit. Without trust, a student will lack the confidence to succeed. Parents and teachers should render their unconditional support to their wards. Having faith in them is what will help them scale the greatest heights. Every challenge comes with a solution.

It’s the mindset that helps in solving the major issues, and leadership plays an important role in it. He shared the intent of grooming the citizens so that the problems can be solved. All citizens should come forward as stakeholders and build a strong nation. Priorities should be set, accept your mistakes and strive for the solution. Optimism is the key to success.
