As Ayodhaya is gearing up to mark the momentous occasion of inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir on January 22, 2024, Haryana government has decided to start bus service to Ayodhya from several districts to enable the devotees willing to have darshan of Lord Ram. Apart from this, special trains to Ayodhaya passing from Haryana will be started. As a part of aforesaid, Initially, the government is likely to start buses from three of the districts including Faridabad, Gurugram and Sonipat in February and to ensure the same, the concerned department is on toes to come up with necessary steps in this direction. It came to fore that starting from Bathinda, this train will reach Banaras via Rohtak, Bahadurgarh, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Lucknow and Ayodhya on four days Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.a week basis.

Pertaining to this, Haryana transport minister Mool Chand Sharma said in case the demand of direct bus service from other districts surfaces in future, the buses from each of the districts would be arranged keeping in view the demand from the area in particular . Divulging more details, he said that the state government plans to take people on Volvo buses from different districts to Ayodhya’s Ram Temple in February. Apart from this, the state will be taken to Ayodhya free of cost in February. As per initial plans, 200-300 people would be taken from each of the 22 districts of the state. Besides, the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Home Minister Anil Vij, will go to Ayodhya to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple on January 22.

Apart from aforesaid , in view of consecration ceremony , several BJP-led states have issued dry day orders saying no liquor will be sold on January 22 and in this series on the lines of other BJP-led states, Haryana government has declared dry on January 22 , 2024 on the day of the consecration of Shri Ram Lala in Ayodhya.

Announcing this, CM Manohar Lal said that liquor vends will remain closed in the state. In continuation to this, the telecast of the program will be held for 2 hours in schools at the time of Pran Pratistha.Notably, the Chief Minister Manohar Lal and leaders of Vishwa Hindu Parishad have decided to take about 2 thousand devotees of the state to Ayodhya to have darshan of Lord Shri Ram. The people of the state will be able to go to Ayodhya for darshan of Lord Shri Ram on 9-10th February. It is worth stating that the list of BJP ruled states which have declared January 22 as dry day includes Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Uttrakhand, Asam, adjoining UP and Rajasthan. Liquor licence holders in the concerned state will not be entitled to any consecration ceremony of Lord Ram.
