Watch: Rishabh Pant’s Hilarious Banter With Kuldeep Yadav In Duleep Trophy Game

Rishabh Pant is known for his energetic and playful demeanor behind the stumps, and his latest banter with teammate Kuldeep Yadav during the Duleep Trophy match in Bengaluru has left fans amused. The funny exchange between the two players was captured on the stump mic, adding some light-hearted moments to the game.

The Hilarious Exchange

The banter occurred during the 41st over of India A’s second innings chase. After Kuldeep Yadav hit a boundary off Sai Kishore’s over, Pant, from behind the stumps, was heard asking the fielders to close in. Pant humorously predicted that Kuldeep would take a single on the last ball, to which Kuldeep responded that he wouldn’t. Pant then jokingly asked Kuldeep to swear on his mother, saying, “Maa kasam khale, nahi lega” (Swear on your mother, you won’t take it). The light-hearted interaction had everyone chuckling.

A Strong Performance by India B
Despite the playful moment, the match saw strong performances, particularly from Musheer Khan and Rishabh Pant himself. Musheer’s brilliant 181 in the first innings and Pant’s quick 61 in the second led India B to a 79-run victory over India A. Musheer was rightly awarded the Player of the Match for his remarkable knock.

Looking Ahead
India B’s next challenge will be against India C in Anantapur starting from September 12, as they look to continue their winning momentum in the Duleep Trophy.
