Abhishek Sharma’s Brilliant Performance
It was due to almost all-around brilliance by Abhishek Sharma that India won the fifth T20I by a huge margin. Batting first, India posted an impressive total of 247/9, which came under Abhishek’s sensational 135 runs off 54 balls. England struggled to chase down this total and got overall just one kind of resistance from Philip Salt, who bashed 55 runs in just 23 balls.
Indian bowling was on fire with Mohammed Shami taking 3 wickets and Varun Chakravarthy, Abhishek Sharma, and Shivam Dube each claiming 2 wickets. India bundled out England for a mere 97 to seal a resounding win in the series finale.
