Just before the much-awaited competitive bidding, Nita Ambani, in a dazzling blue sequinned pantsuit, was seen offering a quick prayer, touching her ears and forehead moments before the auction began. The camera captured her gesture, and they quickly started trending. Akash Ambani was also seated beside her, jotting down notes for the impending heated auction.

The same clip was also shared on X, this time on a fan page dedicated to Mumbai Indians who captioned the same, “Only Legends know what happens after Nita Ambani does this. Mumbai Indians gonna cook for real today.” They also throw up a picture of Ambani praying during the IPL 2019 final, further helping to reinforce her connection to the team’s fortunes.

This isn’t the first time Nita Ambani’s prayers for her team have grabbed attention. In 2019, a video of her chanting with a visibly tense expression during the IPL final’s last ball took social media by storm. Following Mumbai Indians’ victory over Chennai Super Kings, many attributed the triumph to her dedication.

Later, Ambani Trust’s priest Chandra Sekhar Sharma spilled the beans about her spiritual stuff: “We do the ‘Chandi paath’ before every match and yesterday, we did it during the entire match, till Malinga’s final ball. It gives you the power and energy to do something in the way it was meant to,” he told MensXP.

Fans requested the details of the chant on social media so they can upgrade their luck.
