Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is getting heated with all 10 teams having played one or two matches. Every match being do-or-die, the fight for the top four is hot, with the teams aiming to be consistent and enhance their net run rate (NRR) to get into the playoffs.
On Sunday, Delhi Capitals (DC) won a commanding
posting an eight-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), their second win this season. The win placed DC on a joint top position with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 standings. Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, earned their second consecutive loss and fell to seventh position.
RCB Hold Top Position with Unbeaten Streak
RCB maintain their solid start to the tournament, going undefeated with two victories from two games. Having won their first game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), RCB routed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Friday by 50 runs.
CSK vs RR: A Pivotal Encounter
In the later game on Sunday, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will battle in a very important match. RR are keen to register their season’s maiden win, whereas CSK can push RCB and DC aside and reach atop the table with four points by defeating the RR side under the captaincy of Riyan Parag.
