Yesterday, a thrilling match between the USA and Pakistan was witnessed, where the new team defeated the cricket powerhouse Pakistan – which is unbelievable for a country, where cricket is not even a popular sport.

Talking about this match, US captain and Indian American Monank Patel, even opined ‘It’s a big achievement, beating Pakistan while playing for the first time (against them)’

However, in the aftermath of the match, Netizens churned out loads of memes related to H-1b visas and IT memes, as five cricketers from the USA cricket team are Indian-born, while two and three players are respectively Pakistani and British.

Taking to X, one user took a jibe at Pakistan saying, ‘A software engineer at Oracle has defeated Pakistan at the T20 World Cup.’

Another humorously commented about H1B, saying ‘Almost half of the USA Squad are Indians…. Americans came to know that they have a Cricket team after the Indians driven team beat Pakistan. All thanks to H1B XD.’
